Abstract

Understandably, in literary texts of Georgia in the times of the totalitarian Soviet Union, it was impossible to reflect on a number of painful issues the Georgian people had to experience. The events of March 9, 1956 was among them.

From the end of the 1980s, following the period of breaking the totalitarian regime this tabooed topic began to be reflected in the literature.

The presented paper is dedicated to the description, peculiarities and multilateral significance of this kind of narrative documentary prose of the 21st century-the texts of the authors – M. Zaalishvili, K. Imedashvili, D. Kiziria.
