Inter-textualism and Postmodernism
Abstract
One of the most important notions of the postmodern literature is “author’s mask”.
This literary method that since the 80s of the 20th century has often been used in those writings of Georgian writers that apparently represent postmodernist texts, takes its origin as individual specimens in the Georgian literature of the early 20th century, i.e. in the Georgian literature of the time of modernism and socialist realism. Their observation is useful not only for a better understanding of the post-Soviet literary processes but also for revealing the roots (the genesis) of the Georgian postmodernism.
