The Boarder Between Poetry and Journalism as a Reflection of the Old and Nitification of the New (according to the first issue of the newspaper “Georgia” for 1918)

Abstract

First issue of the newspaper “Sakartvelo” in 1918 includes contemplative poetic texts, against the background of which the publications acquire logical content, adding completeness to the newspaper. It seems that time and main century concepts are limited to description of poetic and publicist spirit movements building Georgian national identity. Authors have identified key accents characteristic to universal, Georgian-European civilization and took them as organic basis for live thinking process. Authors’ thought reflects main modus of being human that is established as the basis for Georgian publicist literature of three-year freedom period while for us, the contemporaries – as undoubted life experience.
