Abstract
The best resources for understanding current postmodern reflections, defining individual cultural-aesthetic and intellectual traits, and observing the process of creating a new Georgian identity in a global or post-Soviet environment are Georgian intercultural-migration texts, or texts written in or on the topic of migration.
This is the reason why we have chosen "Moscow-Tbilisi" by Nodar Macharashvili. the author of the new ‘Weltliteratur’.
This work, which was written overseas, captures the contemporary Georgian author's reactions to common historical traumas, the world's issues facing the younger generation, their quest for a true identity, and, in the process, a profound sense of powerlessness in a vast and frequently uncaring world.
