Abstract

A totally new generation of young talented writers appeared in the 1980s who brought about the novelties both through thematic and structural diversities that have not been studied till today. Mika Aleksidze was one of the distinguished figures of this generation. His first stories were published in 1980. The main thematic marker of the writer's artistic prose is a tragic fate of a solitary person left alone in the world, cast out by the society, oppressed and presented as a victim of indifference and lack of love. The characters fight this feeling of solitude alone and frequently lose the fight.
