Abstract

The general purpose of this study is to examine the literary legacy of Georgian émigrés using modern me­thodologies. The ultimate goal is to study the worldview, conceptual, and stylistic characteristics of the lite­rary and artistic heritage of Georgian emigrant authors, their creative identity, and their creative connec­tions with Georgian classical and Soviet, as well as European, writing.However, to fully develop this re­search, it is necessary to overcome the initial stage associated with the genre classification of works by émigré authors, which is presented below.
