The study of emigrant literature requires expanding the spectrum of research directions. Within ar­tistic-documentary discourse, our research focuses on memoir prose through genre, artistry, and memory stu­­dies. We analyze two significant works: Revaz Gabashvili’s ,,What do I Remember” and Valodia Gogua­dze’s ,,Memoirs”. The Georgian emigration wave after 1921 produced compelling memoir literature, which became the sole material for filling "white spots" in history falsified by Soviet ideology. Documentary and journalistic discourse transforms this memoir prose into a multi-faceted, valuable resource for interdis­cipli­nary research, offering a vital counter-narrative to political distortions while preserving the authentic nati­o­nal memory of Georgia.
