Georgian folktales are very rich with various topics, motifs, episodes, tale formulas and magic characters. They have similarities with the folktales of numerous countries, including Hungarian folktales. This was mentioned earlier as well, in the foreword of Russian tran-slation of Hungarian folktales and fampus Hungarian scientists have studied this issue as well. The issue is very wide and requires serious researches due to great number of similarities.
